Yatharth kushwaha, Ayushraj thakur, Jaivica Kushwaha, Monisha Patidar, Shamlee Gupta in the mentorship of Mr. Rohit Dwivedi from VVV Maral had the privilege of attending the SPIC MACAY 9th International Convention at IIT Madras, Chennai. This event was a week-long immersion into the rich heritage of Indian culture, featuring classical performances and intensive workshops. The convention hosted performances by some of the most esteemed artists in India, including Padma Shri, SNA Awardees and Padma Bhushan awardees.

ACP ( Awakening Citizen Programme) Session

At Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar, the school and Ramakrishna Mission Delhi collaborated to host an impactful ACP (Awakening Citizen Programme) session titled "How Values Are Assimilated." Led by Ms Sapna Sarkar, coordinator for the Indore region. Ms. Sarkar passionately emphasized the mission's objective of instilling values inspired by Vivekanand and Ramakrishna Paramhans in students. Through personal anecdotes, she underscored the pivotal role of values like honesty and empathy in shaping individuals and society. The interactive dialogue engaged teachers in exploring effective methods of value education, including integrating stories into the curriculum and fostering a culture of recognizing value-driven behavior. Ms. Sarkar emphasized the collective effort needed to nurture values and urged teachers to innovate in their teaching approaches. This session provided a platform for teachers to exchange strategies and experiences, fostering unity and purpose in their shared mission of cultivating virtuous citizens.

Summer Camp

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar organized a dynamic summer camp fostering the overall development of students, enhancing confidence, independence, social, leadership skills, and physical fitness. Each day began with a health-promoting warm-up. Students engaged in computer gaming activities like hill climbing, puzzles, and shooting, enhancing hand-eye coordination and problem-solving. In a Podcast show renowned podcaster Mr. Viveshwar Dwivedi featured Yatharth Kushwah, India’s youngest resin artist, alongside Nihal Singh and Kyara Gupta, national netball players. Filmmaking insights were shared by filmmaker Mr. Mahesh Engla, while Mr. Manoj Thakkar, VP HR MOL, imparted life lessons. Dr. Ali Hussaini’s personality grooming session emphasized the influence of attire and grooming on character. Chess lessons covered advanced tactics like the pin and the fork. Dance sessions blended hip-hop with Bollywood, and Resin art explorations enriched creativity of the students in Art workshops. The camp concluded with puppet-making and videography skills, showcasing students’ talents and fostering innovative artistry.

CBSE HPC Training : Teachers Training workshop on Holistic Progress Card ( HPC)

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar conducted a two days Teachers Training Workshop on the "Holistic Progress Card" , led by Dr. Priyanka Singh, PARAKH NCERT, with contributions from LNJ Bhilwara Group’s Capt. Jaspreet Kaur and the Narmada Sahodaya School Cluster Khargone. The workshop effectively enhanced participants' skills in student evaluation and educational frameworks, focusing on NCERT's 2023 framework and NEP2020. The engaging sessions and practical activities provided a valuable, enriching experience, culminating in rewards for the participants' efforts. Dr. Priyanka Singh detailed the rubrics of the Holistic Progress Card, emphasizing its various stages and exploring sample HPCs across learning stages. The workshop met its objectives by enhancing participants’ understanding and practical application of the Holistic Progress Card, making it a valuable experience.

Empowering Future Leaders -Scouts and Guides Orientation

“An invaluable step in character training is to make the individuals self-reliant” The Scouts and Guides orientation program for the children was conducted in collaboration with Hindustan Scouts & Guides at Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar. It presented numerous fun and educational activities for the students of Classes 6 to 9 of school where in more than 200 students attended the session and gained knowledge. It was an honour to have the State Training Commissioner of Hindustan Scouts & Guides, Mr. Neeraj Sharma at the school campus who shared his experience as a scout in the group and inspired the students for imbibing the value of service to the community.

Celebrating National Youth Day with Reverence and Yoga

Swami Vivekananda's legacy of spiritual enlightenment and youth empowerment echoed through the halls of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar on the auspicious occasion of National Youth Day. The day commenced with a serene yoga session, symbolizing the union of mind, body, and soul. Students, guided by dedicated teachers, embarked on a journey of self-discovery through meditation and Surya Namaskar, embodying the essence of physical and mental discipline.

This annual event boasted an array of exhibitions, stalls, and engaging activities that captivated the attendees. Esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Vikas Agrawal, the Regional officer of CBSE, graced the occasion and appreciated the progressive pedagogy being adopted in school in Scholastic and Co-Scholastic domain, applying the National Education Policy (NEP) essence in every field of holistic education in school.

CBSE Conference at Vivekanand Vidya Vihar

Maral School has been recognised by CBSE as the lead school in the district and has been bestowed with District Coordinator responsibility along with the authority of Centre Fixation and Central Nodal Supervisor for Evaluation & Practical since past 6 years. In continuation, the school hosted a conference of Principals of 4 districts – Khandwa, Dhar, Barwani and Khargone , addressed by CBSE Regional Officer on the nuances of CBSE norms & rules and intricacies of NEP and Boards progressive intiatives. Over 200 participants from over 100 schools of the four districts attended this conference at Maral school.

Vivekians Shine at UICC Indore International Open FIDE Rating Rapid Chess Tournament

In the bustling arena of competitive chess, Vivekians showcased their prowess at the UICC Indore International Open FIDE Rating Rapid Chess Tournament 2024. Among the talented contenders, Ishan Rathod carved his niche, securing an impressive 5th rank in the under-15 age category. With a resounding victory in six out of nine matches, Ishan's strategic finesse and unwavering determination illuminated the tournament, reflecting the indomitable spirit of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar's chess enthusiasts.

CBSE Sahodaya School Cluster District Level Dance Competition

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar was honored to host the NSSCK District Level Dance Competition. The competition saw over 16 schools participate with the utmost enthusiasm. The Competition began with the introduction and welcome of guests and judges followed by the auspicious deep prajwalan, accompanied with the chanting of the Ganesh Panchratna by the students of the school choir group which marked the opening of the competition. The students and schools were briefed about the rules following which the audience present witnessed 17 mesmerizing and heart touching performances.

Independence Day Celebration

The Nation Celebrated the 77th Independence Day. Vivekanand Vidya Vihar organized a special event to celebrate this landmark moment and unveiled its next group of student representatives of the school, SDG, House and Class councils through the Investiture Ceremony. The event was enriched by the presence of the Chief Guest and various notable personalities attending the event as special guests. As the National Flag was hoisted and the National anthem was sung the a sense of patriotism set in which was further strengthened through a beautiful group song presentation by the choir group.

Parents Teacher Meeting

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar organized a special PTM where our special guest Dr, Ali Hussaini conducted a parents counseling session. He spoke about important factors and challenges that affect the students behavior at home and ways of bringing about a permanent change in the students behavior patterns. The parents were expertly guided towards building strong and positive relationships with their children. Parents shared their individual challenges and possible solutions were suggested and factors hidden to the eye were revealed. The parents attended in large numbers and were very happy with the session.

CBSE Sahodaya Cluster District Level Chess Competition

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar was honored to host the NSSCK District Level Chess Competition. The competition had about 84 participants from over 17 schools, which is proof of the games popularity. Indeed chess is a game that has captivated minds for centuries. It is a game where every move matters, where strategic thinking, logical analysis, and calculated risks pave the path to victory. It is a game that tests an individual's mental strength and patience. Only the strongest minds prevail.

Vocational Skill Course at VVV

Students of class 6th to 9th were introduced to a new vocational course on sewing. This skill course on sewing offers numerous benefits, including enhanced hand-eye coordination and improved motor skills which enable the body to generate new brain cells. However, the most significant aspect is the sheer joy of creativity. This course provides comprehensive knowledge of both basic and advanced sewing techniques, covering various types of stitching and hand embroidery. In the current session, students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with essential tools of a tailor such as measuring tape, scales, scissors, pattern paper, tailor chalo, bobbin and bobbin case. These tools will empower students to create beautiful items like handkerchiefs, sling bags, and tablecloths. Moreover, they will also learn the art of embroidery on khadi fabric, adding a unique touch to their creations. The students were introduced to the world of sewing by Mr. Mahesh Namdev, through whose supervision and guidance the students are expected to further perfect their sewing skills.

World Music & World Yoga Day Celebration

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar observed a special event to celebrate World Music & World Yoga day. The students and teachers gathered at the 'Nakshatra Vatika'. All the students then meditated and performed the surya namaskar. The musical session that followed was simply perfect to channelise the energy, focus and calm state of mind the students and teachers were in. The school's music teacher spoke about a few practices and principles of music and its nature and beauty. He then demonstrated it with the help of the 'Tabla' and the 'Harmonium'.

Annual Parent Teacher Meeting

“Parents' involvement in a child's education inspires the child to do better.” Parent's encouragement and support in a child’s education is of absolute importance. In order to ensure parents' involvement in the education of their ward, a PTM was held on the 10th of March for classes Nursery to 3rd and 9th & 11th, to discuss the annual performance and achievements of the students during the academic year. The parents present expressed their content and satisfaction with the quality of education their child was receiving at the school. Activities such as ‘Warli Painting’ an art form practiced by ancient tribes to depict stories based on the natural events occurring around them and an Open Stage Karaoke Event was organized. Parents and students both wholeheartedly participated and enjoyed the activities organized. The musical ambience and the smiles on the faces of students and parents gave a very positive message

Republic Day Celebration

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Celebrated the 74th Republic Day. The function began with the chief guest unfurling our national flag followed by the National Anthem. Acknowledging Basant Panchami, Saraswati Vandana was chanted on this special occasion Among various beautiful musical and dance performances, the beautifully choreographed Ganesh Stuti Dance stood out, its beautiful costumes and graceful presentation deserved special praise. The Inter House Dance Competition was held as well, where the three houses Bhabha, Raman and Vikram performed to impress the judges. Students and teachers were specially waiting for the announcements of the winners of the Best Class Award, Inter-House Sports Competition Trophy, Inter-House CCA trophy and Overall House Winners Trophy. The winners of the respective trophies were overjoyed and were truly deserving of the award. There was great zeal and enthusiasm amongst the students and teachers as must be the order of the day. A sense of Patriotism was instilled through a few precious words of wisdom by our chief guest Mr. Satyanarayan Goyal, President of Maral Overseas Limited. Students seemed energized, motivated and joyful after the award of the medals, certificate & trophies along with the distribution of the delicious sweets. A wonderful conclusion to a wonderful and special day.

Yellow Day Celebration

Yellow Day Celebration - Yellow is the colour of optimism, glory, sunshine and happiness. It stands for freshness, positivity, intellect and joy. It is significant to develop the Fine Motor Skills in the students. Our little toddlers were dressed up in shades of yellow. All the students of the Pre-primary section sang rhymes, danced and played a game of identifying various yellow colour objects. It was an amazing learning experience which had a long lasting effect on each student. Our Respected Principal mam distributed gifts to the children in the joy of celebrating Makar Sankranti. All the children were happy and enjoyed the day to its fullest.

Annual Sports Meet

Annual Sports Meet is held in School every year with students from House Bhabha, Raman and Vikram competing in various track and field events along with a host of team sports competitions like Volleyball, Football, Kho Kho, Basketball, Taekwondo, Chess, Badminton and Netball, categorized in four different age groups - Group Zero, Sub-Juniors, Juniors and Seniors. Group Zero category students from Nursery to Class II participate in fun game events like the sack race, athletics, the balance game, circuit run and task etc to develop their Gross Motor Skills and capabilities. The team games are composed of both Girls and Boys championing the spirit of gender equality. The outcome of the events and the performance brings light to the fact that given a chance our girls are just as brilliant and physically capable as our boys. Sports meet provides our students a platform to display their passion, sportsmanship and develop mental strength and team spirit.

CBSE Sahodaya Schools Cluster Khargone Painting Competition based on Art Integrated Learning

CBSE Sahodaya Schools Cluster Khargone Painting Competition based on Art Integrated Learning was conducted on 12th January 2023 at Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar. The Competition aims to motivate young and zealful artists and also assist them in developing their creative talents by bringing out their innate talent and skill. In this competition, the participants were assessed and evaluated for their creativity and execution. In the junior art category, Mast. Yatharth Kushwah from Vivekanand Vidya Vihar was awarded the first position and Mast. Nikhil Patidar from Vivekanand Vidya Vihar was awarded the second position. A proud moment for our school! From the Senior Category Ms Nandini Kumrawat was awarded the 1st position from Sandipani Academy and Ms Jaivika Kushwah from Vivekanand Vidya Vihar secured 2nd position. The participants actively participated in the competition and wonderfully showcased their talent. The school is proud to host such competitions, as they provide a much needed platform for these young & talented artists.

CBSE Sahodaya Science Quiz Competition

Under the banner of Narmada Sahodaya Schools Cluster Khargone Science quiz competition was held on December 10, 2022 Saturday. In Senior (class 9th to 12th) category Runner up position was secured by Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar participants.

National and State Level Netball Championship

Students of Vivekananda Vidya Vihar hoisted the flag in netball. Along with education, the trend in sports is also increasing. The students of the school have been showcasing their talents in various competitions ranging from inter-school to national level competitions. Recently the students of the school Nihal Singh, Piyush Dhanare, Atharv Patel, Mansi Verma and Shubhashree Bhoi represented the state team in the 28th Sub-Junior National Netball Championship being held in Haryana. Success doesn't stop here – In the 35th Junior National Netball Championship at Howrah West Bengal in which Abhay Singh Suryavanshi, Vedansh Malik, Mahinoor Khan, Riya Mukati and Akshara Tavar from school, represented Madhya Pradesh team. Students of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar also participated in 1st Sub-Junior State Level Netball Championship Boys/Girls 2022 to represent Khargone District where girls team secured 3rd position.

State Level Painting Competition

On Energy Conservation organised by the Government of India’s Initiatives NHDC and Energy Efficiency. Jaivika Kushwaha and Yatharth Kushwaha, students of Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, who were participants in the event, were honored by State's Excellency Mangubhai Patel by giving them a certificate, LED bulb and Rs.2000 in cash.

State Sub Junior Level Chess Championship

VVV Maral Students showed their proficiency of chess in Madhya Pradesh state sub-junior chess championship 2022, at IPS academy Indore, where Ishan Rathod of class VIII A secure 27th position and Sankhya Takzare of class X stands on 66th position in the State.

Parent Teacher Meeting

“Holistic development of a child depends upon the hard work and involvement of student, parent and teacher. These three stake holders’ integrated efforts give the best learning outcomes.” Vivekananda Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar conducted the Parent Teacher Meeting for the Result Declaration of Term I Examination- 2022-23. Parents met the concerned educators to get clarity on the performance of their wards. A special parent engagement initiative staging ,Diya making, Garba dance and Piano Music were also part of the event.

Summer Camp

A summer camp 2022 was organized in the VVV campus from 24th April to 1st May 2022. The theme of the summer camp was "URJA SANKALAN". The message of the camp was to give the students an opportunity to learn new skills in Art and Craft, Dance, Music, Sports, and Spoken English. The participation of the students to learn self-defense through "Taekwondo" was a good learning experience. The exuberant learners zealously participated and showcased their diligence toward each planned activity of their choice.

Admission Campaign

VVV Maral Sarovar conducted a massive admission campaign in March 2022. As a part of this intervention, team VVV conducted awareness campaigns for mass mobilization. Videos & Presentations flashing the school's success stories were screened through IIPs during the campaign. The result of the it has proven to be highly productive and fruitful as the parents have extended full faith and trust in the school.

SGFI Netball State Level

The Khargone district SGFI Netball team trials were organized by VVV Maral Sarovar in which 35 VVV Maral students got selected for Division Level Netball Tournament at Indore. Further 9 students were selected for 66th SGFI State level Netball Championship and brought laurels as; U-14 boys (Bronze Medal) - Ayushraj Thakur, U-17 girls (Silver Medal) - Mahenoor Khan, U-19 girls (Silver Medal) - Akshara Tanwar and Vanshika Sharma, U-19 boys (Silver Medal) - Kartik Rathod and Piyush Dhanare.

Tribute to Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar

On the 227th "Punyatithi" of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, the VVV Maral students paid musical tribute to the queen of Maheshwar (Malwa) who fought the challenges in the path of governance & continually worked for the empowerment and upliftment of the general public community. SGFI Table Tennis Tournament

VVV Maral School students swept the Table Tennis floor at the District Level competition emerging as the overall School Winner with 1st and 2nd positions in U-17 Boys, 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in U-19 boys. Also they secured 3rd position both in U-14 boys and U-17 Girls.

Investiture Ceremony

On the 75th independence day, VVV Maral Sarovar celebrated the day in a dignified way and held the Investiture Ceremony for school leadership. Students performed beautiful musical performances in the programme. The President of Maral Overseas Ltd. was the chief guest of the programme. He also administered the oath to all the members of the school, house and class council.

Japanese Visitors to School

Guests of Maral Overseas Limited from UNIQLO Japan visited VVV Maral Sarovar School and much appreciated the facilities, technological interventions and aesthetic development initiatives in the school. They were accompanied by School and MOL Trustee-Owner - Mr Shantanu Agarwal, President of MOL - Mr S N Goyal and VP of HR (MOL) - Mr Manoj Thakker.

CBSE Narmada Sahodaya Schools Cluster Chess Competition

VVV Maral Sarovar sweeped the CBSE Narmada Sahodaya Schools Cluster Chess Competition (District Level) by winning positions in all 3 categories for Boys. Efforts of Chess Coaching at the centralized level in LNJ Group Schools enabled the students to show their talent and potential in the game and brought laurels to the school.

Guru Purnima

The importance of Guru in Indian civilization has been said more than God. A special assembly was organized in the school by imbibing the same feeling. First of all, the school council members worshipped the symbol of Gurutva Charan Padukas. After this, Guru praise, Guru hymns and poetry recitation by students made this assembly even more fantastic.

Doctors Day

To honour the Doctors for their selfless service, VVV Maral invited Dr Dhananjay Upadhyay to share his Journey and tips to lead a healthy life. Many parents and students took benefit from Dr Dhananjay's advice. He emphasised on precautions to be adopted, following a hygienic routine and healthy eating habits. He advised the intake of fruits at the right times of the day and advised the teachers to take care of their health by looking at their standing and movement while managing students and school activities.

Republic Day

On this day, "Kala Kalam Sangam" was organized at VVV, Maral Sarovar with a flag hoisting function. The confluence of art with the pen as the new form of teaching, was showcased through the activities -The two main attractions of the program were "Puppet Theatre" and "Spiritual to Science Confluence". The program ended with an inspiring speech by the chief guest Mr. Satyanarayan Goyal, President, Maral Overseas Limited.

Annual PTM

VVV, Maral School conducted the Annual Parent Teacher meeting for the result declaration of Annual Exams 2021-22 for Grades Nursery to XII on Monday 21st March 2022. Parents met the concerned educators to get clarity on the performance of their wards. This meeting was a huge success and the parents appreciated the efforts of the school and expressed satisfaction over their children’s performance.

Vaccination Drive

The district administration set up a vaccination drive at VVV Maral School for the students between the ages group of 15-18 years. A team of doctors along with the paramedical staff from the DMO office were there to administer Covaxin to the children. The inoculation programme was conducted to ensure that the school students avail the shots without requiring them to travel to any other camp. The vaccination of the children was conducted in a flawless manner keeping all the covid protocols. The students had given specific time slots and after taking the vaccination, the school made arrangements for students to be given biscuit packets.

Farewell of Batch 2021

The junior students of VVV Maral School had a farewell meeting on National Youth Day. The farewell ceremony was attended by all the students in class XII. The pupils in class XI organised the entire programme with great zeal. The pupils in class XII conveyed their appreciation for their favourite instructors. The ceremony came to a close with a heartfelt speech from the principal, who wished the children success in all aspects of their lives.

Golden Achievement of Students

The state-level painting competition was organized by the Government of India's Initiatives NHDC and Energy Efficiency Bureau on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, which was participated by Yatharth Kushwaha and Jaivica Kushwaha of VVV Maral School. It was a great pleasure that both children were selected in the first ′′13′′ winner participants. Both the children were honored with the cash award of Rs. 7500 by the Honorable Governor of Madhya Pradesh.

National Solo Patriotic Song Competition

Bharat Vikas Parishad organized a National Solo Patriotic Song Competition in which the talented children of VVV Maral Sarovar School participated. The first phase was organized at the branch level in which Ms. Mohini Dongre of class 8th presented the song – ‘Hame Fir Se Ganga Bahani Hai….’ secured second position in Junior Category, Ms. Jitisha Choyal of Class 11th also presented a song – 'Apna Bharat Apna Hindustani' - secured the first position and qualified for the next Provincial Level and fascinated the audience with her melodious voice and secured the second position.

National Achievement Survey

National Achievement Survey (NAS), a nationally representative large-scale survey of students' learning was undertaken by the Ministry of Education, Government of India on 12th November 2021 across 733 districts all over India. Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral School was designated as District Level Coordinator for conducting NAS in Khargone District. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) developed the Assessment Framework for gauging the competencies attained by the students vis-a-vis learning outcomes.

Diwali Celebration

The School designed ‘Diwali Celebration’ in a very creative manner by organising class-wise competition of classroom decoration on a specific theme. Every class was given a thoughtful theme- ‘Health’, ‘Hope’ and ‘Inspiration’ with ‘Action’, for Sub Juniors, Juniors and Seniors respectively. Students blended the essence of Diwali with the themes and made beautiful Rangolis in their classes. Different paper crafts, colourful hanging art pieces & lighting lamps were the main attraction during the celebration.

Instrumental Music Competition

“MUSIC IS TO THE SOUL WHAT WORDS ARE TO THE MIND”
To provide an opportunity to students for exploring their innate talents as well as to display their musical abilities, Surtal Musical Group organized an online music instrumental competition in two categories Tabla playing and Keyboard playing Clearing all the three rounds, VVV Maral student Roshni Mandloi, in Keyboard category, entered the finals and secured the second position. She was awarded an e-certificate along with a cash prize of Rs 999. Tanmay Badole of class IV also participated in the Tabla category and cleared 2 rounds.

Independence Day

Owing to the Coronavirus pandemic,75th Independence Day – witnessed ‘low-key’ affair, with fewer dignitaries in attendance : The Chairman SMC Shri S N Goyal-President MOL, all School Management Committee members, staff members and core school council members with song and dance presenters. Enthusiastic students joined the programme on live zoom telecast and also shared their patriotic song and dance videos celebrating the national festival from homes, given to COVID safety protocols.

Investiture Ceremony

A simple investiture ceremony was organised for core school council with oath bestowed upon the students by the Chief guest on Independence Day, bestowing the leadership and investing the students with citizenship values .Vivekanand Vidya Vihar stands proud of its students- the future nation builders!

On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, LNJ Group organized Inter School Patriotic Song Competition for all its schools, in which the children of Vivekananda Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar gave a splendid performance.

Science Project on COVID-19

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Vivekians believe, creativity and connection will help us heal and grow stronger through this. To give the message for staying connected and healthy, Ms. Sushree Simran from Vivekanand Vidya Vihar rounded up a Scrapbook under the guidance of Mr. Sawan Jaiswal TGT Science. The scrap book, which can be referred by any one at any time, compiles following precautions about COVID -19.

World Music Day

On the World Music Day, the students of different classes presented a spectacular Musical show with great enthusiasm and enthralled the audience by rendering melodious Songs, Piano recital, Tabla etc. The programme ended with the school Western Band singing ‘Wolves’. This celebration of music not only plays a vital role in the overall holistic development of the students but also creates awareness among the children about the importance of music in life.

International Yoga Day

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar celebrated the International Yoga Day on Virtual Platform and students performed some effective and impacting Yogasanas under the guidance of our teachers. Vivekians have been learning Yoga in school since long time in regular online classes also. This auspicious occasion provided an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Summer Camp

Though it was a pandemic time, Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar was on the mission of engaged and active students and had organized Summer Camp on digital platform for the children. In this summer camp children got an opportunity to enhance their caliber of Art Music, Dance and also Sports & Yoga. During the camp, parents also attended the sessions and enjoyed with their children.

Digital Newsletter - Stay Positive to Get Negative

Our student – Yatharth Kushwah of class-VI attempted to collate these stories from various publishes and shared the Digital newsletter among the people who are undergoing treatment so that they could get encouraged to fight and should reach back to their family and loved ones as earlier as possible. He appealed the people to circulate such newspaper comprising motivating stories to as many people as possible so that by reading these inspiring stories; energy can be transmitted to them.

Alumni Glory

Vivekians celebrated 72nd Republic Day with great patriotic fervor. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the tricolour by Shri. S N Goyal, President of Maral Overseas Limited. The celebration included thought, speeches on the history and importance of Republic Day and on Constitutional Rights & Duties, and a patriotic dance. It was also the time to applaud and reward the students for their sincere efforts during the previous academic session.

Flag Making Workshop

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar came up with Online Workshops – Making National Flag and National symbols by Palm Painting for the students of Nursery to II and kept them engaged with instilling national pride in them. Many children joined this workshop with their parents and watched a short story to know more about Republic Day. It was an enjoyable and memorable session.

Alumni Glory

The magnificent building of the Vivekanand Vidya Vihar stands with stoic dignity amidst the lush green atmosphere. This majestic mansion is the temple of knowledge which is remembered with pride and dignity for its remarkable performance. Alumni glory re-established and exhibited the strong foundation this school has been providing in education since 27 years. Ex-students, placed prominently in various fields of work like –Defense, Public Services, Medicine, Engineering, Research, Space Science, Corporate Management, Finance etc. have come together and formed an Alumni association, committing to encourage, support and nurture existing students and strengthen their Alma Mater.

Math Lab Activity

At our School Math Lab, Group Activity had been planned and executed fruitfully with the outcome to learn and understand the Mathematical formulas and to apply those formulas into different fields as calculation of Area, Volume, Curved Surface Area of 3D Shapes.

Chess Tournament

Inter Schools Chess Tournament had been organized under the banner of LNJ Group on 24 January 2021. All four schools of LNJ Group had participated in the competition. Vivekanand Vidya Vihar provided an opportunity to the students to highlight their talent. Diwali Celebration

Vivekians celebrated virtual Diwali with great zeal and enthusiasm. Various competitions and activities were organized through online mode. The students of Vivekanand School took the opportunity to showcase their incredible work and participated in a competition based on the themes - Me and My beautiful Home, My 3 Generation Family, My family My Pride.

Online Navratri Celebration

Navratri is a festival to celebrate power of nine forms of the goddess Durga. It is a festival of joy, dance, colours, and love. VVV Maral students celebrated it at home in Covid-19 times through virtual mode by participating in ‘devi roop-fancy dress’ ‘devi aradhna-solo dance’ ‘devi themed artwork' competitions.

Chess Training

The selected students are being given exposure through the Chess Training Foundation aligned by School HO. They are getting SIMUL events and Online chess coaching weekly for better understanding of game. Students were gaining exposure to compete the games with Grandmasters at a bigger platforms.

Physical Schooling

Education is an essential part of the young generation and ignoring schooling can have long-term implications. Realizing the fact and following the Government directives & COVID safety protocols, VVV Maral attempted to reopen schools from Dec 7, 2020 with support & cooperation of parents. The students were mandated and educated to use Sanitizers, Masks, and to maintain social distance everywhere for the safety and security of students.

Centralised Examination

Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar conducted centralised Pre – Board exams for classes X and XII. PT – 3 and Half Yearly Exams were conducted for class III to IX and XI. The exam for classes IX to XII was on offline mode and the rest of the classes took the exam in online mode. For Centralised Pre Boards, the Group schools collaborated and shared the Question Papers for giving a fair and unbiased practice and preparation to students for Board Examination preparation.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

To commemorate the national festival ‘Gandhi Jayanti’ and to celebrate the 151st birth anniversary of the father of nation- Mahatma Gandhi, Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar organized skill competition - Painting for the students on Oct 2, 2020. The main objectives of these activities were to inculcate Gandhian values and to sow seeds of a good human being and good citizen in students.

Online PTM

PTM of Classes III to XII was very unique this time as it was a virtual. The parents were apprised about the performance of their ward in the class based on the document SUPIR (Student Understanding of Performance and Interventions & Remediation). Parents highly appreciated the initiative taken by the school to conduct online classes and smooth functioning of continued education of their wards despite immediate need of tech transition.

Online Examination

In the times of e-learning during this pandemic, Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar conducted Mid-term Examinations in the month October through online mode. The question paper was released live on Zoom platform classrooms as per the slot schedule. Students were instructed to keep their video and audio ‘on’ while writing the paper. The school had provided an emergency number for any assistance that a student may need in case of some technical difficulty.

Basant Panchami

Basant Panchami is celebrated in reverence to the Hindu deity Goddess Saraswati, epitome of learning , music & art. People celebrate this day by visiting temples, flying kites, and donating to the needy. To celebrate this festival, the students of the Vivekanand Vidya Vihar held a Special Assembly. Prayer, pledge, school vision & mission were followed by a divine rendition of Shlokas & Diya lightening The spring of divine happiness took over when a prayer ceremony worshiping Goddess Saraswati was led by offerings of spring flowers by all the students & staff of the school and the mythological significance of Festival since ancient India shared by Mr Piyush Sharma and distribution of Prasad amongst all .The Principal Mrs. Rashmi Kaushal Baveja motivated the students to be progressive learners, setting big goals and putting dedicated efforts as a promising & flourishing human harvest.

Republic Day Celebration

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated on January 26th at Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The event began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest of the day Shri S N Goyal President Maral Overseas Limited and Chairman School SMC, followed by the National Anthem. The school echoed with patriotic fervor as the children of Jr. and Sr. grades danced to the tunes of patriotism and displayed Rajasthani & Punjabi culture, patriotic songs and Yogasans.

Makar Sakranti Celebration

A beautiful, bright and delighted day was observed. Pre-primary and Primary kids celebrated Makar Sakranti festival with full enthusiasm. They enjoyed kite making and kite flying activities. Their smiley faces show that how they are happy and excited about that. Sharing food and sweets with each other made the festival fun double.

Swami Vivekanand Jayanti

On the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand, VVV Maral students of 7th, 8th and 9th class presented a drama on the life of Swami Vivekanand depicting many aspects and events of Swami Vivekananda's life and preaching. In the act of 40 minutes, the 35 participating students impressively enacted various scenes and illustrated Swami ji’s philosophy, thus spreading the learning on the occasion of World Youth Day.

Online Poster Making Competition

A poster making competition was organized by Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar on April 19, 2020 for Sr. Group – IX-XII based on the theme – ‘Living With Nature’ to show our deep gratitude towards beautiful nature. The main objective of the event was to give an opportunity to our budding talents to explore their hidden skills. The students showed their abilities through art where they expressed their feelings in the form of quotations, paintings, sketch etc.

Online Photography Competition

VVV Maral students grabbed their cameras, also grabbed their Alarm clocks and clicked their favorite view of the morning for VVV Maral Photography contest titled "The Morning Angle".

Online Rakshabandhan Celebration

राखी में बहन का प्यार और उपहार में भाई का अपनत्व छुपा होता है। यह भाव और गहरे हो जाते हैं, जब राखी और उपहार भाई और बहन ने स्वयं अपने हाथों से बनाए हों। विवेकानंद विद्या विहार के विद्यार्थियों ने इस राखी पर हैंडमेड राखियां अपने भाइयों को बाँधी और हैंडमेड उपहार अपनी बहनों को दिए।

Online Music Competition

Music binds our soul, hearts and emotions. Music is the best method of relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. In fact through singing, humans learn to express their feelings and ideas. To recognize the singing talent of the students & parents, Vivekanand Vidya Vihar organized an online open Music Competition with thinking participation.

Online Dance Competition

Dance allows you to express a wide variety of emotions. The way you dance can express happiness, excitement, and passion but also aggression and anger. What is so wonderful about dancing is that it helps you to relieve stress and to fully center yourself in the present moment. The following inspirational dance quotes celebrate the joy of dancing and get you excited for this beautiful way of expressing yourself. To bring out the *dancing talent of the students & parents” Vivekanand Vidya Vihar organized an online open Dance Competition.

Online Investiture Ceremony:

Every year on Independence day Vivekanand Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar, performs investiture ceremony. In this ceremony school council and all the councils of houses take oath. This year because of pandemic limitations , the oath taking ceremony was performed on digital platform. Students and teachers took the vow to take up the school glory to greater heights. .
