Vivekanand Vidya Vihar, Maral Sarovar hostel students went on an educational trip to the historical town of Madav (City of Joy); a complete nature paradise situated on 2,079 feet high of Vindhya plateau, overlooking the plateau of Malwa to the north and the valley of the Narmada River to the south. Students spent the whole day learning history, heritage and architecture of that era. Mandav has 61 protected buildings of which seven are conserved by state archaeological department. Students also visited the Dinosaur Fossil Museum in Dhar district exhibiting all folklore and myths linked with dinosaurs.
Industrial Visit at Maral Overseas Limited Industrial visit is considered as one of the tactical methods of teaching. The main reason behind this- it lets student to know things practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. Main aim of industrial visit is to provide an exposure to students about practical working environment as per the CBSE curriculum and knowing the practical aspects of subject, our commerce students of class XI and XII visit and learned about complete process of making Fabrics, Knitting cloths and Garments.
Temple Picnic The most awaited day of the year was the school picnic to Jalkoti (Shiv Datta Dham), Maheshwar.The school picnic was for the students of Nursery to Grade IV.Vivekananda Vidya Vihar Maral Sarovar gave an experience of being surrounded by greenery and the beauty of nature. We started at 9:15a.m. in the morning and a feeling of a great day ahead. The students were extremely excited and kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue.Shiv Datta Dham, the temple of lord DattaTrey. This is a piece of architecture spread over many acres. The gate and parikarma attracts everybody.The temple is situated at the bank of Narmada River. There's beautiful idols of Lord Ek Mukhi Datta, Lord Ganesha and Goddess Maa Narmada. We visited the temple then we had lunch together. All the students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers, as it strengthened the bond between the students and their teachers. It was a sound and safe return trip by ,1.30 pm. “Cheers”.
Park Visit VVV Maral arranged an outing program to Indore for the boarders. They visited Trinity mall where they watched the movie Mission Mangal which was very inspiring. After that they visited zoo, where students enjoyed seeing various animals. The whole trip was full of fun with learning.
